The right participant is involved in evaluating solutions, managing vendor relationships, shaping policy, or designing how your organisation governs its use of AI. They need enough proximity to procurement, compliance, or risk management to produce credible work - whether they own these processes or are the people who make them function.

The right participant is responsible for delivering change, overseeing AI systems in practice, or managing the impact on people and operations when things shift. This unit assumes real operational accountability — including workforce decisions, crisis response, and communicating with stakeholders inside and outside your organisation. 

Typical roles include (but are not limited to) heads of operations, service delivery, transformation, change, digital, or workforce; directors and deputy directors of operations or transformation; programme directors; operational managers with people responsibility; senior HR business partners; heads of people or organisational development; and divisional, regional, or general managers with delivery accountability.
